Man killed in Staten Island home during confrontation with cops, report says; 2 others wounded

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Several people were shot -- at least one fatally -- during an apparent push-in at a Huguenot home this afternoon.
A male was killed during a confrontation with police, who responded to 115 Collyer Ave. to investigate a report of a woman shot, authorities told the Associated Press.
It was not immediately clear who fired the shot that killed the man.
A second male and a woman were also hospitalized with gunshot wounds, a law enforcement source told the Advance.
Police say the first male apparently pushed his way into an apartment around 12:30 p.m. and shot the woman in the abdomen, the Associated Press is reporting.

The woman's husband was also shot in the head and is in grave condition, according to emergency radio transmissions from the scene. The woman fled to the home of a neighbor, who called 911, the Associated Press is reporting.
Public records show that 115 Collyer Ave. is listed as the place where legal papers can be served for a business known as Hyper Beam Tech, LLC.
The company was incorporated in Kings County in August 2008 and is active, according to online records of the New York State Department of State. No registered agent is listed.
