STATEN ISLAND< N.Y. - A woman is clinging to life after being shot in the head early this morning in Mariner's Harbor.
A 31-year-old black woman was shot at 2180 Forest Avenue at 2:30 a.m. this morning, according to a police spokeswoman. She was taken to Richmond University Medical Center and is listed in critical condition there, police said.
The address is the location of a shopping center, which include a sports bar named Shooter's Lounge.
Police have not arrested anyone in the shooting, and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
