STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- A Stapleton man followed a woman home from a club early Sunday morning and locked her in her bathroom for 15 minutes before police arrived, according to prosecutors.
Alex Desderio, 27, of Beach Street, grabbed the woman by the back of her neck, pushed her into the bathroom of her home, also on Beach Street, and blocked the door with his body, according to court papers.
Desderio kept her in the bathroom for between 10 and 15 minutes.
He followed her after they both left Club Paradise on Bay Street, court papers said.
He was charged with one count each of second-degree unlawful imprisonment and second-degree harassment.
