The Brooklyn Circus 2012 Spring New Releases
In celebration of The Brooklyn Circus‘s
event with Red Wing, they’ve curated a stylish photoshoot that
showcases an assortment of diverse looks for Spring 2012. Utilizing the
Iron Ranger Boot, a trek through muddy Golden Gate Park on a rainy day
allowed for muted textures that seemed to make the offerings almost pop
three-dimensionally. Amongst the standout pieces releasing this week is
the “Olde Bklyn” Varsity Vest, “Knucklehead” Moto-Varsity and “Fudd”
Cap.
Kenny Scharf sits down with Joseph Ian Henrickson in an interview with Living Proof Magazine. Coming to prominence in the 80s with fellow artists Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat, Scharf forever altered the artistic landscape of the world. In this interview, he speaks about the influence growing up in California had on him and his work, coming to New York, meeting Haring, his thoughts on street art, and the ups and downs of the art world.

Dee and Ricky x PONY 2012 Fall/Winter Capsule Collection Preview
For the brand’s 40th anniversary, PONY has once again hooked up with Dee & Ricky
on a collaborative endeavor for Fall/Winter 2012. Featuring the
designers’ usual loud and unconventional aesthetic, the footwear and
corresponding apparel sports a dizzying array of bold colors and
unorthodox patterns. The capsule collection was recently on display at
Bread & Butter Berlin with a release slated for late 2012.
