Kirk Dudley, 18, a student at Dean College outside Boston, surrendered to cops on the charges that he punched him, pulling off the victim's shoes and walking off with them. The shoes are valued at $200.
Nine students were reportedly expelled after the December 2 incident at the school. Dudley, a former Curtis High School football player, is charged with robbery, assault and battery and assault and battery using a dangerous weapon -- a shoe, police said.

Dudley faces up to 10 years in Massachusetts state prison if he's convicted, according to the Boston Herald. He pleaded not guilty yesterday in Wrentham District Court. He was released on $2,000 cash bail and has returned home, his attorney, Joseph P. Cataldo, told the paper.
Dudley, who was a freshman at the school, is scheduled appearance is on Feb. 27 for a pre-trial hearing. He had wanted to play for the college's football team, his attorney said.
"He is very disappointed that (police) would level such serious charges against him," Cataldo told the Herald. "He has no prior criminal history with law enforcement in this state or any other state."
After verbally confronting the 19-year-old victim, Dudley "without warning, struck (him) in the face with his closed fist, knocking him to the ground," the criminal complaint states. "As (the victim) attempted to protect himself, Dudley continued with his closed fist assault, striking (the victim) in excess of 10 times, rendering (the victim) helpless. Dudley then pulled the sneaker off the right foot of (the victim) and used the sneaker to strike (the victim) about the head a number of times."
During and after the beating, a group of students taunts and laughs at the bloodied, staggering victim, according to video captured by another student.
