Mariners Harbor family facing felony drug and weapon charges after months-long sting

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- A four-month undercover operation landed a Mariners Harbor man, his sister and his uncle in handcuffs on a variety of felony drug and weapon charges Tuesday.

Police say Enzor Okoloji, 24, sold cocaine to the same undercover officer on three separate occasions in Graniteville and West Brighton since January 6.

Those sales led police to get a warrant to search Okoloji’s house at 44 Birch Rd. Tuesday night, where investigators found a loaded semiautomatic handgun, cocaine and marijuana, court papers allege.

Okoloji, his sister Angelis Okoloji, 25, and his uncle, Eknunuh (Egg) Egbue, 48, all live at the Birch Road address, police allege.

The trio face a variety of weapon and drug possession charges, while Enzor Okoloji also faces three counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.
