Cops believe a teen was shot at the corner of Innis Street and St. Joseph's Avenue in Port Richmond.
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Two teenage gang members are responsible for a shooting last month near Port Richmond High School that left another teen with a bullet lodged in his leg, authorities said.

Police have arrested Durail Miles and Jourdahn L. Jefferson, both 18 years old and reputed members of the Bloods, in connection with the shooting. The victim, who is also 18, is a Crips member, a law enforcement source said.

The shooting happened at about 1:50 p.m., on the corner of Innis Street and St. Joseph’s Avenue. Miles, Jefferson and the victim, who authorities have not identified, all attend Port Richmond High School, the source said.

It’s not clear if any of the teens were in class that day, and a call to school officials was not immediately returned today.

Jefferson and the victim got into an argument, authorities said, while Miles remained out of sight.

The victim heard Jefferson say, “Pop that [expletive],” and Miles opened fire, court papers allege.

The bullet passed through his left leg, then entered his right leg, where it became lodged.

The victim left the scene, and made his way to Richmond University Medical Center in West Brighton later in the day, authorities said.

Jefferson, a Brooklyn resident, was charged in connection with the shooting Thursday morning.

Members of the Staten Island Auto Larceny Unit picked up Miles, who lives on the 200 block of Jersey Street in New Brighton, inside a stolen vehicle Thursday night, and charged him in connection with the shooting Friday morning.

Both are charged with two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and a single count of second-degree assault, said William J. Smith, a spokesman for District Attorney Daniel Donovan.
