Cassidy speaks on Lil Wayne kissing Baby & talks about his new partnership with Carmelo Anthony

Cassidy recently gives his opinion on Lil Wayne & Baby kissing..

"whoever out there kissing another man like if you consider yourself to be a gangster and you kissin another gangster, then i'm talkin to you, it dont matter who you is... i'm not just directing it at one person like it only go for him.. if you considered to be a gangster or a man period you shouldn't be kissing another man or another gangster period."

Cassidy talks about going independent and partnering with Camelo Anthony.

When i got free from J Records and Full Surface i knew i wanted to be a independent artist but i knew that was gonna require a gang of budgets from myself.... i'm not gonna be able to get them video budgets and them recording budgets and them advances from the record label so i was gonna have to bring that to the table on my own and i wasn't willing to spend my own money, so i realized i had relationships with people thats getting money like Carmelo, he got a lot of money" Cassidy continues "i'm not signed to Carmelo production company. I'm signed to my own production company but i did a partnership with Carmelo first and foremost, once i did that then i went and got the distribution from my production company through E-1 so i did the partnership with Carmelo first then i went and got the distribution through E-1" Cassidy

MY THOUGHTS... applause to Cassidy for NOT signing to a record company and being smart enough to get a investor and distribution to go independent. I tell New artist this ALL the time, if you can get a investor to give you the budget you need to make things happen, get that money, hire your own staff and go Independent. That is the best way to go now days, you can control your own destiny and not worry about a label trying to change you or putting your project on the back burner."

As for the Gangster kissing thing... I guess it means different things to different people. A guy once told me that he kisses his homeboys, he said its what gangstas do. He actually tried to convince me that straight men who are gangsta's kiss all the time, lol. I wouldn't even like it if he was kissing his female friends in the mouth let alone kissing men... that's too much. This man struck out with me for 2 reasons. the first strike was... he's a "grown man" who calls himself a gangsta and secondly, i want NO parts of any man who kisses another man on the lips for any reason whatsoever... i don't care if it's the gangsta code, the mafia code or the jesus code.

I LOVE having gay men as friends (they are the best) and actually my favorite and most fun to hang around but when it comes to me picking men to DATE... thats a whole other story. it's too confusing and a complete turn off for me if i meet a man who say's he is straight but then exhibits down low behavior like kissing his homeboys around the way in the mouth. No thanks.
