Elizabeth Olsen, Victoria Justice, and Liv Tyler at the Sundance Film Festival

The Sundance Film Festival
kicked off this weekend, and as usual, the style spotting involved a
parade of boots and cozy chic. If there's one event where celebs can
throw some fun into their wardrobe while exuding total comfort and
'dorbsness, it's Sundance. And what better way to accentuate your jeans
(which are the norm in mountainous Utah) than with a stylish sweater?
Usually there's no shortage of Ugg(h)s, skinnies, and Park City parkas,
but this year the ladies mixed it up with some seriously kewl sweater
sass that we're all set to steal. Elizabeth Olsen paired black booties and brown legging cords with a vintage Versace-esque tiger sweater. Victoria Justice
layered a muli-striped cropped sweater over a black tee and skinny
jeans, and accentuated the red in her sweater with matching knee-high
socks (kudos on style and cold-weather function). We were thrilled to see Liv Tyler looking lovely in cascading brunette rivulets and a killer Balenciaga sweater that we'd be wearing right now if we'd won the lottery. Oh, and they weren't the only ones all knitted out...Photo: Getty Images
Kate Bosworth, Jamie Chung, and Christina Hendricks at the Sundance Film Festival.

Kate Bosworth attended the screening of her much-buzzed about new horror film, Black Rock, wearing a white cable knit Isabel Marant sweater with unraveling threads (very indie, very apropos). We loved rising starlet Jamie Chung's brightly colored après-ski (or snowboarding!) Fair Isle sweater and side pony. And Christina Hendricks not only tipped her leopard hat to the animal kingdom but also to the sad animal sweater
trend with her fantastic Mr. Fox turtleneck. Even though winter is just
setting in (sigh), the thought of kicking up our sweater game makes the
prospect of these lingering cold temps slightly more exciting. Also,
thanks to the ridiculousness that is stores stocking spring clothing
already, we can get our sweaters at half the price!
