New Music: Faith Evans “I Wanna Rock (Freestyle)”
Ms. Evans emerges out of nowhere and adds her vocals to Snoop’s instrumental. Kinda of late to hop on this now though. Oh well, we’ll keep the faith.

NEW MUSIC: KELLY ROWLAND - “SMOOCHES”
♫ Kelly Rowland
The new track, “Smooches” is a buzz single, produced by Bangladesh, who is responsible for creating the hits “Diva,” and “Video Phone” for Beyonce, as well as Lil’ Wayne’s smash, “A Milli.”
The new sound for Kelly is exciting. Let’s hope that this track can build enough buzz and that her new situation with label and management will allow her to spread her wings on this new project. She’s been in the studio with David Guetta, Sean Garrett, as well as hitmaker, Rico Love. No word on a solid release date.
Who knew Kelis was so limber? “Acapella” live in NYC
I hadn’t really seen this clip of Kelis performing in NYC this week, but thanks to HipHopBlog for sending over her Club 57 footage, and thanks to the fact that I’m up at an ungodly early hour for one reason or another….so I watched it. The sound quality is deplorable but wow, Kelis is a whirling dervish on that small balcony-stage! I get amped when I hear that Major Lazer song too, but never a split. Ever.
