Once again Jon Stewart smashes Bill O'Reilly with facts and i LOVE it... The two decided to have a public debate on FOX to discuss the controversy surrounding Michelle Obama inviting Rapper Common to the White House for a poetry event. Many americans were outraged at this invite labeling Common as a vile rapper who promotes cop killing.
During last nights debate, John Stewart defended Common and made Bill O'Reilly look like a complete fool by bringing up the FACT that America's beloved Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dillan and Iconic singer Bono have all written songs about and supported convicted cop killers who they believed were wrongly convicted. Both Bob Dylan & Bono have since been invited to the White House... talk about dropping a bomb (BOOM... take that Bill.)
Bill (who HATES to be wrong) was so caught off guard by this info being brought up he pretty much began babbling and couldn't really say anything (without seeming like a flat out racist) that would make sense as to why Common should be banned from the White House while Bruce Springsteen, Bono and Bob Dylan continue to receive open arms.
"You are saying that he is promoting cop killing. What I think he's doing is not celebrating, but honoring someone he thinks was wrongly convicted of cop killing...There is a collective outrage machine here at Fox that pettifogs only when it suits the narrative that suits them... But then guess what? Bono can't go to the White House, Bruce Springsteen can't go to the White House, Bob Dylan can't go to the White House. You got a lot of people that aren't allowed to sit in the White House because they've written songs about people convicted of murder." -John Stewart
