Raid on Stapleton home yields 4 arrests on guns, weapons charges
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Four Stapleton residents were arrested on a number of weapons and drug charges after police executed a search of their home.
Angel Sanchez, 21, of the 100 block of Gordon Street, was found inside a bedroom with 16 zip bags containing cocaine in his jacket, court papers say. One zip bag containing marijuana was allegedly in his sweatshirt.
A 32-caliber revolver loaded with five rounds was also found in the bedroom, authorities say.
Filomena Sanchez, 52, Jennifer Sanchez, 26, and Alasha Murray, 20, were all in the hallway at the time of the search.
All four were charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, second-degree criminal possession of loaded firearm, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and one count of unlawful possession of marijuana.
Sanchez was convicted of third-degree attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance last year.
