Shooting at Staten Island intersection; victim dies of injuries

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. --  A man was shot to death this morning in the Mariners Harbor section of Staten Island at about 3 a.m.

Police radio transmissions said the victim was shot at the intersection of Lockman Avenue and Brabant Street. The man was rushed to Richmond University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
