STATEN ISLAND, NY -- A shooting in Port Richmond early Sunday morning sent two victims to the hospital and left one man arrested on charges of reckless endangerment and assault.
Police say Paris Miles, 20, fired rounds from a .32 caliber pistol into a crowd at approximately 1:50 a.m. near 83 Maple Ave., hitting two males. One victim, shot in the stomach, was brought to Richmond University Medical Center, West Brighton. Another brought himself to the hospital and was met there by police. Both are reportedly in stable condition.
Miles, a resident of the 100 block of St. Marks Place, was charged with criminal use of a firearm, criminal possession of a firearm, reckless endangerment, assault with a firearm, and tampering with evidence.
